Terms of Use

By accessing or playing Mafia Born ("the Game") at mafiaborn.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. The Game

Mafia Born is a free, browser-based multiplayer RPG. The Game is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Game at any time without notice.

2. Accounts

You may create one account per person. Accounts are free and require only a username and password -- no email is needed.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We cannot recover passwords -- if you lose yours, you will need to create a new account.
Usernames must not impersonate other players or real individuals, contain slurs or offensive language, or be intentionally misleading.
You may delete your account at any time from the in-game settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use exploits, bugs, automation (bots), or any form of cheating to gain an unfair advantage.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other players through chat or any other means.
Attempt to access other players' accounts or data.
Interfere with the operation of the Game servers (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, packet manipulation).
Use the Game for any illegal purpose.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or gain unfair advantages.

4. Multiplayer & Chat

Chat messages and player actions in multiplayer are visible to other players.
We do not actively moderate all chat in real time, but reserve the right to review and act on reports of abuse.
You are solely responsible for the content of your chat messages.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, without prior notice. Decisions regarding enforcement are at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All game content -- including code, artwork, text, and design -- is the property of the Mafia Born developers.
You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use any part of the Game without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. You are encouraged to use the cloud save feature regularly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including but not limited to loss of game progress, account data, or interruption of service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
